Functioned in several important positions under the Govt of Tamilnadu and the Govt of India and produced outstanding results in every one of these posts.

(Addl Chief Secretary in the rank and grade of Chief Secretary to Govt  and Principal Secretary to Govt in Departments like Industries, Transport, Local Administration, Commercial Taxes.,Dist Collector of Madurai.

Chairman of Rubber Board, at Kottayam, Chairman TN Electricity Board, Chairman and MD of several public sector undertakings like TN Newsprint and Papers, TN Transport Corporations etc-Responsible for re-organising the entire Transport Dept, dividing it into separate Corporations, making them profitable.)

As Chairman, Rubber Board, Kottayam, organized over 2000 village level Rubber Producers’ Societies (RPS) which helped the 5 lakhs Small Rubber Growers of Kerala to improve their productivity to the highest level in the World.

For one year worked as the Chairman of the Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries ( ANRPC), Kuala Lumpur., which is a co-ordinating Body of all the Countries producing Natural Rubber.

Insisted on transparent processes in Govt’s decision making and quit the IAS, 2 years ahead of schedule.

After quitting the IAS, now settled down at Kochi.

• Publishes and edits the weekly newspaper, Kochivaartha.
• Worked as Director, Federal Bank, for 6 years and as its Chairman, from 2010 to 2012
• President of Infam, the largest independent Farmers ‘Association  in Kerala.,                                        
•  Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Peoples’ Movement of   Kerala. Kochi.
• Publishes articles on economic and social issues in popular Newspapers like Malayala Manorama, Deepika and Mangalam.
