Dr Varun Kesavan completed his PhD in the finance domain from VIT Business School, VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) University, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. He is a prolific and voracious researcher in the areas of financial technologies, FinTech, digital payment systems, banking, corporate finance, financial management, green finance, artificial intelligence, sustainability, tourism, and quantum computing domains. Apart from his PhD, he has completed his MPhil program in finance at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Moreover, he has completed two PG diplomas in retail management and in international business. He was a gold medalist at graduation (BBM CA) and post-graduation (MBA). Before joining XIME Bangalore, he worked at various business schools in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Moreover, he is a hardcore researcher and a voracious reader with reference to his research output, which can be accessed on diverse social media platforms such as Google, Google Scholar, SlideShare, Scribd, ResearchGate, etc. He has authored books, Scopus-indexed and Web of Science indexed-articles, book chapters, peer reviewed journal articles, case studies, and book reviews in leading international and national journals on diverse managerial domains.
