Dr. Mythiri B. is an Assistant Professor of Business Communication in the Department of Entrepreneurship & Communication at Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (XIME). She holds a Ph.D. in English Language Education from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. Her doctoral research examined the integration of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) into tertiary-level English classrooms as a means to foster inclusivity within educational spaces and contribute to a more inclusive society. She is also qualified in the UGC-National Eligibility Test (NET) in English.
Her academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of communication, language education, and pedagogy. She explores how communication functions not only as a skill, but as a transformative force in both academic and organizational contexts. Passionate about the evolving role of language educators, she is committed to helping students develop not just linguistic competence, but the emotional intelligence and adaptability needed to thrive in a diverse, tech-driven world.
She has presented her work at reputed national and international conferences, conducted master classes, and published in Scopus-indexed and ABDC-listed journals. In the classroom, her approach is grounded in inclusive pedagogy, critical thinking, and sustainability, fostering collaborative, learner-centred environments where every voice has space to grow.
