Dr.R.Kumarakannan is an Assistant Professor at Xavier Institute of Management &
Entrepreneurship Bangalore. He has experience for more than a decade each in industry and
academics. His industry experience includes few years in Foreign exchange and investment
management branch of a public sector bank at Mumbai. He is specialized in Finance in MBA
from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He has been designated as Chartered Financial Analyst
from ICFAI University. Holds a doctorate in Management from Bharathiar University;
Qualified UGC-NET in Management; Expertise, teaching and research interests are in the areas
of Finance, Investment analysis and portfolio management, financial derivatives and financial
modeling. He published research articles in Scopus indexed journals, ABDC listed journals,
UGC Care listed journals.
