On 21st May, commemorating the birth anniversary of our beloved Founder & Chairman, Late Chevalier Prof. J. Philip, XIME Bangalore proudly inaugurated the Leelamma Philip Hostel, marking a significant milestone in our commitment towards holistic student development and residential campus life.
Spread across 91,194 sq. ft. over six floors, the new girls’ hostel has been thoughtfully designed to provide students with a comfortable, secure, and vibrant living environment within the campus.
The facility features 168 well-planned rooms, including 162 double-occupancy rooms and 6 single-occupancy rooms. The hostel also includes spacious study areas within rooms, dedicated reading spaces, a dining hall, gymnasium, student lounge with indoor games, and other modern amenities that support both academic focus and community living.
The hostel was inaugurated by the President of XIME, in the presence of Mr. Harrish Mathew, Secretary, XIME; Mr. Dennis Abraham, Vice President, XIME; Dr. Binny J. Cherayil, Board Member, XIME; and Ms. Meret Philip, Board Member, XIME.
The occasion was further graced by Ambassador C.P. Ravindranathan, IFS (Retd.), and blessed by Fr. Robin, Administrator of SFS College, along with faculty members, students, well-wishers, and guests.
The inauguration of the Leelamma Philip Hostel reflects XIME’s continued focus on creating a nurturing residential ecosystem that combines comfort, safety, learning, and community engagement for future leaders.
