The Finitiative Club, the Finance Club of XIME Bangalore, formally inaugurated its activities for the Academic Year 2026–27 with an insightful inaugural session held on 23 July 2026 at the First Floor Auditorium. The event marked the beginning of another exciting year of finance-focused learning, industry engagement, and student development, in line with the club's mission of nurturing future-ready finance professionals.
\r\n\r\nThe occasion was graced by Mr. Siddhartha Chitrapu, Assistant Vice President – Wholesale Credit Risk Management, HSBC, and a distinguished XIME alumnus, who attended as the Chief Guest.
\r\n\r\nMr. Chitrapu delivered a thought-provoking keynote address on "AI, FinTech & the Future of Finance: How PGDM Students Can Prepare for the Next Decade." The session explored the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence and Financial Technology in transforming the global financial ecosystem, highlighting emerging trends in risk management, digital banking, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
\r\n\r\nDrawing from his industry experience, Mr. Chitrapu shared practical insights into the evolving skill sets expected of management graduates and emphasized the importance of continuous learning, technological adaptability, analytical thinking, and ethical leadership in building successful careers in finance.
