XIME Bangalore hosted XCELERATE 2026 – MSME Growth Summit on 4 September 2026, an initiative aimed at strengthening connections between academia, MSMEs and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The summit was envisioned as a platform to foster meaningful industry–academia collaboration, creating opportunities for students through live projects, Summer Internship Programmes (SIPs), placements and sustained industry engagement. With over 80 MSMEs expected to participate, the initiative had already generated 10+ live projects, 5 internship opportunities and 4 placement conversations ahead of the event.

The summit featured industry interactions, live project evaluations and networking opportunities, enabling students to engage directly with business leaders and explore real-world challenges. The participation of industry associations such as KASSIA (Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association) and ELCIA (Electronic City Industries Association) further strengthened XIME’s engagement with Karnataka’s MSME ecosystem.

A significant highlight was the inauguration of The Idea Factory – XIME’s Pre-Incubation Programme, designed to nurture aspiring entrepreneurs by supporting idea discovery, validation, mentorship and business development. The programme envisages structured Saturday sessions to guide participants in transforming innovative ideas into viable entrepreneurial ventures.
