Our test is XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) conducted by XLRI. XLRI conducts XAT on behalf of Xavier Association of management Institutes (XAMI). Since we are member of XAMI, we do not have separate test. We also accept other national level entrance tests – CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA and GMAT.
XIME offers two year fully residential PGDM (Post Graduate diploma in Management) at its Campuses in Bangalore, Chennai and Kochi. PGDM at each Campus has separate AICTE approvals.
Candidates who are appearing for their final year examination and are awaiting their results can apply.
However, they should have maintained an average of 50% marks in the degree course until then. They should be completing all their degree examinations before 15th June 2019. Such candidates are required to produce proof of passing the Degree examination with the minimum required marks of 50%, latest by 10th September 2019.
Applicants who have un-cleared backlog papers in graduation, are not eligible to apply.
XIME PGDM programme across all campuses are fully residential.
XIME PGDM is not class room sessions alone. It involves workshops, discussions, debates and other such activities. The Learning process also involves interaction at various levels, life lesson and social interaction with fellow students with diverse culture and many other.
All the Campuses of XIME have students from about 25 states and Union Territories. Few Foreign students also join during certain Terms as part of student exchange programme.
XIME has no Management quota or NRI quota. Subject to eligibility norms, any one including NRIs can apply. Admission will be purely based on merit.

Specializations are in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Operations, IT and Analytics and General Management. Under each specializations, there are electives to be chosen from the specialization subject areas. There is provision for major and minor specializations.
Students are covered under a group Medi-claim policy (Rs. 2 lakhs)
Students and one earning parent are covered under a Group Personal Accident Policy (Rs. 5.00 lakhs cover for Student or parent)
XIME has signed MOU with 14 Universities aboard – situated in USA, Mexico, France, Netherlands, Russia, Japan, China and Korea.
During January 2018, 40 students from XIME (all Campuses) completed their winter Exchange programme at Audencia Business School, France.
Another group of 40 students had their winter internship in Guangdong University of Foreign studies, Guangzhou, China during January 2018.
Three students completed their summer Internship at Noagoya University of commerce and Business, Japan. One student secured a scholar ship of Japanese Yen 80,000 per month under JASSO Student Exchange Support Programme for 4 months of the programme.
. Group of students from XIME also participate in BRICS students conferences through Association of BRICS Business Schools. 10th BRICS Students' Meet was held in Parana, Brazil, hosted by Pontifical Catholic University Parana. A team of 10 students participated in the conference.
Almost 30% of XIME students get the opportunity for such programs. The selection of students will be made from among the students who opt for the Programs as and when the universities call for. The selection will be based on the performance, conduct and other parameters.
For XIME Bangalore the Programme fee is Rs. 10 Lakhs (payable in instalments). For XIME Kochi and Chennai the same is Rs. 7.50 lakhs (payable in instalments). For Bangalore students International study tour is part of the curriculum and actual amount (around 1.50 lakhs) is payable. For Chennai and Kochi it is optional.
Approximately Rs. 8,500/- per month (for 10 months per year), covers boarding, lodging, electricity and water charges. Extra charges will be payable for AC Rooms at Chennai campus
Merit cum Means scholarships of Rs.1.25 lakh to 20 deserving students across the 3 campuses. This is in addition to merit based scholarships and cash awards ranging from Rs. 10,000/- to Rs.2.00 lakhs.
The Institute has an active student’s placement programme. Through its placement cell, it provides direction and support to students who are eligible for placement. All through the years, it has succeeded in maintaining an excellent record. The institute vigorously follows a norm of 100% placements.
We have a centralized placement system, under which XIME students go thorough common placement process irrespective of whether they are from Chennai, Koch or Bangalore Campuses.
GD/PI will be held at 7 Centers on the following dates. The exact Centre, date and time for individual candidates will be informed through email.
