Dr. Tijo George is an Assistant Professor and Area Focal in the Human Resource Management & Organizational Behaviour (HR & OB) department at the Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME), Bangalore. With over 11 years of rich, blended experience across academia and industry spanning India and the UAE, he brings a deeply global and practical perspective to management education.
Dr. George holds a PhD in Management from the prestigious T A Pai Management Institute (AACSB & AMBA accredited institution), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal where he was honored with the Best PhD Scholar Award (2025). He also earned a regular MPhil in Management from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore. His primary research explores complex workplace dynamics, including layoff survivor syndrome, workplace anxiety, employee voice mechanisms, and generational workplace attitudes. An avid researcher, Dr. George has published extensively in high-impact international journals indexed in ABDC (A, B, C) and Scopus (Q1/Q2).
