Dr. Shreya Kaushik is an Assistant Professor in the Accounting and Finance area at Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME), Bangalore. She holds a Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), equivalent to a Ph.D., in Finance from the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad.

Her academic and teaching interests span Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Behavioral Finance, and Financial Decision-Making. Her research focuses primarily on behavioral finance, investor behavior, and the influence of psychological and physiological factors on financial decision-making. She has published her research in ABDC-listed journals.

Her doctoral research, “Essays on Visceral Influence and Financial Decision Making,” examined how visceral states such as mental fatigue, hunger, pain, and thirst influence financial choices. She has presented her research at reputed academic forums, including IIM Lucknow and IIM Ahmedabad, and has participated in international research initiatives such as the GEAR Programme at the University of Bath, UK.

Her interdisciplinary research interests lie at the intersection of finance, psychology, and consumer/investor behaviour.
