Dr. G. Raju is a distinguished academician and researcher with over 28 years of teaching experience in higher education, spanning graduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. His academic career has been marked by significant contributions to teaching, research, curriculum development, and doctoral supervision in the fields of Commerce, Finance, and Management.
Prior to joining Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (XIME), Bengaluru, Dr. Raju served as Professor at several reputed institutions, including Amity Business School, Amity University, Noida; Galgotias University, Greater Noida; CET School of Management, College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram; and Government College for Women, Thiruvananthapuram. He has also held faculty positions at Government College, Tripunithura; Government College, Nedumangad; Government Victoria College, Palakkad; Fatima Mata National College, Kollam; and N.I. College of Engineering, Thuckalay.
An accomplished research supervisor, Dr. Raju is an approved Research Guide in the Faculties of Commerce and Management Studies at the University of Kerala and has successfully guided 14 doctoral scholars. He continues to mentor research scholars and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in his areas of specialization.
Dr. Raju has played an active role in academic governance and curriculum development. He has served as a member of the Faculty of Commerce and the Board of Studies in Business Management at the University of Kerala. He has also contributed as a member of the Boards of Studies of several autonomous institutions, including Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram; Fatima Mata National College, Kollam; Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam; and Marian College, Kuttikanam.
A prolific researcher, Dr. Raju has published numerous papers in reputed national and international journals and has presented his research at several conferences and seminars. His scholarly work covers a broad range of topics in finance, capital markets, risk management, development studies, and economic policy.
He is the author of Corporate Debt Market in India and has co-authored several books, including Capital Market Investment in India, Civil Aviation – A Global Perspective, Agro Processing and Value Addition in India, Risk Management in the Agriculture Sector, Credit Risk Management of Manufacturing Companies in India, Global Stock Market Dynamics: The Macroeconomic Connection, and Empowering the Marginalized: Socio-Economic Schemes and Financial Inclusion in India.
At XIME, Dr. Raju teaches and researches in the areas of finance, accounting, risk management, and development studies, bringing together academic rigor and practical insights to enrich student learning.
