Ph.D. in Management Studies
Dr Ragupathi T is an Assistant Professor at Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (XIME), Bengaluru. He completed his PhD in Management Studies from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the College of Engineering Guindy (CEG), Anna University, Chennai, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
His doctoral research focused on scheduling in semiconductor manufacturing systems, with particular emphasis on improving due date-based performance measures using operations management techniques and discrete-event simulation. His research interests include Operations Management, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management and AI/ML applications in Operations Management and Operations Research.
Dr Ragupathi has presented his research at several international conferences, including those held in Singapore and Vietnam. His scholarly contributions include a conference publication, a journal manuscript submitted to a leading Q1 journal, and a book chapter currently under review.
He is passionate about teaching and mentoring students and has a strong interest in bridging theory and practice through application-oriented learning. At XIME, he contributes to teaching courses such as Digital Supply Chain Management and Operations Management.
