Ms. Pooja V is an academician and researcher in the field of Commerce and Finance, currently serving as Junior Assistant Professor of Finance at Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (XIME), Bengaluru. She holds a Master’s degree in Commerce from the University of Mysore, has qualified UGC-NET and K-SET in Commerce, and has cleared the CMA Intermediate examination. She has also completed an Executive Education Programme in Women Entrepreneurship from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB).

With over four years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, Ms. Pooja has taught courses including Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis and Reporting, Cost and Management Accounting, Managerial Economics, GST, Direct Tax, and Research Methodology.

Her research interests span Finance, Commerce, Entrepreneurship, and Management Education. She has published research papers in Scopus-indexed journals and has presented her work at leading academic forums, including the Indian Management Conclave at IIFT, New Delhi.

Ms. Pooja is also developing expertise in financial databases and analytical tools, particularly Bloomberg, with a focus on integrating real-time financial data and analytics into teaching and research. She actively mentors student research and internship projects and is committed to advancing academic excellence through impactful teaching, collaborative research, and industry-academia engagement.
