Prof. Madhukumar P. S. is a seasoned technology and management professional with over 35 years of leadership experience spanning information technology, enterprise transformation, quality management, cloud applications, analytics, and academic administration. His distinguished career bridges defence research, global technology leadership, consulting, and higher education.
Prior to joining Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (XIME), Bengaluru, Prof. Madhukumar held senior leadership positions with leading global technology organizations, including DXC Technology (formerly Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services) and Mphasis. At DXC Technology, he served as Director and Global Leader for Delivery and Transformation, leading large-scale applications and enterprise cloud transformation initiatives across Asia-Pacific, EMEA, and the Americas. His responsibilities included application delivery, enterprise cloud applications, transformation programs, telecom practice leadership, quality management, and capability development.
Earlier, he served as Head of the Global Quality Organization at Mphasis, where he was responsible for implementing and institutionalizing enterprise-wide quality systems and process excellence initiatives. He began his professional career as a Scientist with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), contributing to India's defence technology and research ecosystem.
Throughout his corporate career, Prof. Madhukumar has worked closely with Fortune 500 organizations, leading complex digital transformation and enterprise modernization programs while driving operational excellence, innovation, and business value realization. His expertise in quality frameworks, global delivery management, cloud technologies, and organizational transformation has enabled organizations to achieve sustainable growth and performance improvements.
Since joining XIME, he has held several academic leadership positions, including Dean (Academics), Dean (External Programmes & Corporate Relations), and Dean (Quality Assurance). In these roles, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening academic quality systems, industry engagement, corporate relations, and institutional development. He currently serves as Dean (Quality Assurance) and Area Head for IT & Analytics.
At XIME, Prof. Madhukumar teaches and mentors students in the areas of Information Technology, Analytics, Digital Transformation, Quality Management, and Enterprise Systems, bringing extensive industry insights into the classroom.
