Dr.S.Gayathri is a Senior Assistant Professor at XIME, Chennai. She holds a Ph.D. in Corporate Governance from The University of Madras. She has a Bachelors in Automobile Engineering and had obtained her Masters in Business administration and a Mphil in the same. She had cleared UGC NET for Management. She has fifteen years of experience with various Universities and colleges. She is an upcoming author in academics and had authored four books now on Corporate Governance, Strategic Management, Legal Aspects of Shipping, and Group Cohesiveness.

Areas of Interest and Expertise

Her teaching and research interests include Strategic Management, Corporate Governance, Sustainability, and CSR. She regularly delivers lectures and webinars on leadership, Employability skills, Sustainability and Teaching learning process.

• She has written 18 research papers and had authored two book chapters.
• She had won the best paper award for her work on “Electric vehicles – An Introduction of the Tesla Case for strategy and leadership" in the International Conference on Advanced Technology in Engineering & Management- ICATEM 2020’ at Taylor’s University, Malaysia. Her case study on "The Jugaad Innovation in India- The case study of Ampere vehicles" is published in the book "Value Creation 4.0" by Transnational press, London.
