Dr. Sebastian V. Joseph is an accomplished academician with over 25 years of teaching and research experience in Economics and General Management. He currently serves as Associate Professor in the General Management area at Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (XIME), Bengaluru.

He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay). He is UGC-JRF qualified and secured the First Rank in the M.A. Economics examination conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala.

Prior to joining XIME, Dr. Joseph was associated with leading management institutions in the Delhi NCR region, including the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad, where he taught Economics and related subjects for nearly 19 years.

He has also served as Visiting Faculty at IIT Roorkee, the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi, and the FORE School of Management. In addition, he has conducted Management Development Programmes (MDPs), executive training programmes, and consultancy assignments for both public and private sector organizations. He has also completed a Faculty Development Programme at the Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina, USA.

Dr. Joseph has published several research papers and case studies in reputed national and international journals and has presented his research at academic conferences. He is also the co-author of a book on Managerial Economics published by Cengage.
