Dr.Prof.G.Devakumar graduated in Mechanical Engineering and also did a couple of PG Diplomas and completed his MBA in Marketing Management Specialization, in addition he has got PhD degree from Guindy- Anna University, Chennai.

He has got a total of 22 years' corporate industry experience in various capacities such as National Sales Manager, Strategic Business Unit Head, dealing with Electro Mechanical Industrial products business through B2B, B2C over 400 Dealer network management across the country.

Further he has over 20 years of academic experience in the capacity of Professor, HOD for MBA, Dean and Head - Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Research Centre in a renowned University (RUAS) at Bangalore.

He has travelled UK -London, Germany, Irelands and Malaysian Universities / Business Schools for University Collaborations, Academic Exchange Programmes. He has guided many PhD scholars

Further Dr. Prof.G.Devakumar has successfully completed several Sponsored Research Projects from TIFAC / DST and Corporate Projects from SKF LTD. During the 2021 teacher’s day celebration he has been awarded for Exemplary Faculty Award and Best Researcher Award by the Chairman of the Esteemed University RUAS.

Further he has published several Scopus Indexed/ ABDC / Web of Science journals to his credit and presented many International and National conferences / IEEE conferences co-authored with research scholars and got best paper awards / GOLD Awards and published Book and Book Chapters in Tylor & Francis publications, Helmand Publishers, Notational Academic Press, Shanti Publications etc.

He has conducted many MDP, FDP and ODP Programmes to corporates and Academic institutions. He has also served as a Board of Study Members and Chairperson for MBA in Marketing Management and served as a PhD Examiner, Editor / Journal review panel for international repute journals.

He has also got a Professional membership with All India Management Association (AIMA) and also served as Team Leader for NAAC and Management Representation (MR) for Quality Assurance Team.
