Profile

Briti Deb is a Data Scientist and academic with expertise in Data Science, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Health, and Applied Computing. He brings a unique blend of academic research and industry experience, having worked with leading institutions including the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Vyaire Medical, and Azim Premji University before joining XIME Bangalore.

His research focuses on leveraging data-driven methodologies, machine learning, and behavioural analytics to address real-world challenges in healthcare and wellness. At IISc, he contributed to India's digital health ecosystem by developing biomedical ontologies aligned with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). In industry, he developed analytics solutions to support evidence-based healthcare decision-making.

Briti holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Computing from the University of Reading as an Erasmus Mundus Scholar and a Master of Technology (MTech) in e-Government from the University of Trento, Italy, where he completed research at the Laboratory for Applied Ontology of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications from Bangalore University.
