Profile
Dr. Varun Kesavan holds a Ph.D. in Finance from VIT Business School, VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology), Vellore, Tamil Nadu. He is an active researcher with academic interests spanning Financial Technology (FinTech), Digital Payment Systems, Banking, Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Green Finance, Artificial Intelligence, Sustainability, Tourism, and Quantum Computing applications in business.
He completed his M.Phil. in Finance from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, and also holds postgraduate diplomas in Retail Management and International Business. A university rank holder and gold medalist in both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies, Dr. Varun has consistently demonstrated academic excellence throughout his educational journey.
Prior to joining XIME Bangalore, he served in various reputed business schools across Tamil Nadu and Kerala. His research contributions include publications in Scopus-indexed and Web of Science-indexed journals, book chapters, peer-reviewed articles, case studies, and book reviews across diverse management domains. He has also authored academic books and actively contributes to scholarly discussions through various academic and research platforms.
