Dr. Shimona Shriya is an Assistant Professor at Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (XIME). She has completed her PhD in Management from Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronics) from Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Ranchi.

Dr. Shimona brings a strong blend of academic and industry experience. Prior to academia, she worked for four years in industry with Honda Cars India Ltd. and Havells India Ltd., where she gained hands-on expertise in operations, supplier relationship management, project management, and quality assurance. This industry exposure continues to enrich her teaching and research.

Her research lies at the intersection of Market Design, Preference Matching, Data Envelopment Analysis, Project Management, and Sports Analytics/Management. She has published in reputed ABDC, ABS, and Scopus-indexed journals and has contributed cross-disciplinary book chapters, reflecting a strong commitment to impactful and applied research.

She is passionate about teaching and regularly engages MBA/PGDM students in Operations Management, Project Management, Business Statistics, Supply Chain Management, and Analytics-oriented courses. Dr. Shimona aims to contribute to academia through high-quality research, industry-relevant pedagogy, and meaningful student mentorship.
