Dr. Kunal Gaurav is an Assistant Professor with strong academic and industry expertise in operations management, supply chain management, business analytics, and digital transformation. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, with research focused on operations and sustainable supply chain practices.
He has taught a wide range of courses including Operations Management, Business Analytics & Quantitative Methods, Project Management, Applied Operations Research, and Logistics & Supply Chain Management at the postgraduate level. His teaching approach integrates analytical rigour with real-world operational insights.
Dr. Gaurav has actively contributed to research and academic development, having presented papers at reputed conferences such as the International Conference on Sustainability at IIM Shillong. He has also completed advanced training in Digital Transformation in Supply Chains from IIT BHU and participated in multiple FDPs on case teaching and pedagogy.
With prior industry experience at Vedanta (Sterlite Industries) as a Project Engineer, and internships with organizations such as Suzlon, Tata Motors, Usha Martin, and HEC, he brings valuable practitioner perspectives into the classroom. His professional certifications include CPIM (APICS) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, strengthening his applied operations expertise.
In addition to teaching and research, Dr. Gaurav has handled key academic and administrative responsibilities, including serving as Deputy Chief Examination Superintendent, contributing to NBA accreditation documentation, and participating in institutional committees.
