Dr. Hirak Dasgupta is an accomplished academician with over 18 years of teaching experience in Business Statistics, Quantitative Techniques, Research Methods, Advanced Statistics, and Data Analytics, complemented by 6 years of industry experience. His expertise lies in data analysis, statistical modeling, multivariate analysis, and quantitative research methodologies.
His research interests include consumer behaviour, sustainability in higher education, internationalization of higher education, and the application of Artificial Intelligence in education. He has published research papers in reputed Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals and has successfully guided four doctoral scholars.
Dr. Dasgupta has held several academic leadership and administrative positions, including serving as In-charge of MBA Dissertation and the Institute Research Committee (IRC), where he actively promoted research excellence, faculty development, research funding initiatives, and scholarly publications.
He has also contributed significantly to curriculum design, research administration, academic coordination, and university-level academic bodies. His passion for teaching, research, and mentoring continues to inspire students and faculty alike.
