Ashok received his MBA from FMS, University of Delhi and has completed a Masters program in Sustainability from Harvard University with Honours (Dean’s List) in 2014. He has 26 years of professional experience as a profit-centre/divisional head with leading multinational organisations in India and in the Middle-East. He has embarked on a ‘second career’ in Academics/Research/Writing since 2015. His areas of expertise are Corporate Sustainability, CSR, Cause Marketing, Business Strategy and Social Entrepreneurship.
He is pursuing doctoral research at XLRI, Jamshedpur in the domain of sustainability marketing and has presented research papers at international academic conferences on business sustainability and responsible marketing. He has contributed a chapter on Circular Social Innovation (Ashok Prasad & Mathew Manimala) in the book ‘Social Enterprises & Sustainable Business Models’ published by Palgrave Macmillan, London. His articles have been published by Economic Times, The Guardian (London), Cause Marketing Forum(USA) and Stanford Social Innovation Review. He is the Co-Founder & Managing Trustee of Clothes2Causes Trust- a Social Enterprise.
