Latest Publication: Global Management Education - Country Studies edited by Prof J.Philip & Prof C.P.Ravindranathan

The thirteenth convocation saw the release of a unique book ‘Global Management Education - Country Studies’, a compendium of select papers on management education world-wide ,edited by Prof J.Philip and Prof C.P.Ravindranathan. The book was formally released by Prof S.L Rao, Chairman ISEC and former Director-General of NCAER.

The book, probably the first of its kind, focuses on management education –its genesis, growth and prospects -in the U.S., Europe, Brazil, China, India, Russia, select Asian countries etc., and the impact on the internationalization of management education. Those interested in management education will find the book extremely valuable.

  (ABSTRACT)
  The initiative has been taken by Joe Philip, former director, IIM-Bangalore and promoter, Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME), a top B-school based in Bangalore. Philip, who had launched the 450-member Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) in the late 1980s, feels that BRIC countries being the leaders in management education, should exchange their experiences to shape a better non-western solution to management.
