PANEL DISCUSSION ON THE UNION BUDGET

The Finance Club of XIME organized a panel discussion on the Annual Union Budget (2018-2019) on 7th Feb 2018, where the impact of Budget on various sectors such as Agriculture, Healthcare, Education, MSME, Banking and Finance were discussed by eminent panelists. The guest speakers for the event were Mr. Babu K. Thevar, Chartered Accountant, Chairman Indirect Committee, South Indian Regional Council, ICAI, Bangalore Chapter; Mr. Vijay Krishnamurthy, Former CFO, Legal Head and Company Secretary of Tata Elxis Ltd; Ms. Shubha Ganesh, Fellow Chartered Accountant, Founder of Money shiksha and Guest Faculty in IIMB and CA Chandrashekar, Partner at Shekar & Yathish Chartered Accountant Firm, Bangalore. After listening to the Guest Speakers’ views about the Present Union Budget, an interactive Q&A session was held. The session ended with a vote of thanks and mementos were handed over to the esteemed panelists.
