​Hon. Sri P. Sathasivam, Governor of Kerala, presenting the Golden Leaf Excellence Award to Prof. J. Philip, President XIME for his outstanding contributions to Management Education.

The Future Kerala Education Conclave 2017, was a first-of-its-kind conference where political leaders, industry leaders, education leaders, and distinguished thought leaders assembled to review the achievements of Kerala education so far; and to brainstorm on what should be the vision for Kerala education by 2021. Prof. J. Philip, President XIME inaugurated the Conclave on 21st June 2017 at Hotel Crowne Plaza, Kochi; and shared his thoughts on the future of education in Kerala.

Hon. Governor of Kerala, Shri P. Sathasivam honoured Prof. J. Philip with the Golden Leaf Excellence Award for his outstanding contributions to Management Education.  Hon. Shri. P. Sathasivam was the chief guest at the concluding session, and in his key note address, he said, “There is a need to revive the education system in Kerala and such platforms can be helpful for visionaries to share their ideas and help people work for the better future”.

The event included thought-provoking sessions, informative and enlightening speeches delivered by the eminent dignitaries. The conclave also discussed the need for education reforms and the future of the education sector in Kerala. Entrepreneurs and Education analysts who immensely contributed to the field of education were also honoured in the event.
