XIME Chennai Campus Inauguration

The Chennai Campus Inauguration was presided over by His Emimnence Cardinal MarGeorge Alencherry which took place on 29th of July, 2016 at 6pm. The chief guest was Mr.R. Seshasayee, Chairman, Infosys.The guests of honour were Mr. T.V. Antony, [IAS Retd.],Former Chief Secretary, Govt. of TN, Mr. C.V. Sankar IAS, Chief Secretary, Govt. of TN, Dr. J.Alexander [IAS Retd.], Chairman, XIME Kochi and Former Chief Secretary, Govt. of Karnataka, Mr. P.C. Cyriac [IAS Retd.], Chairman, XIME Chennai and Former Addl. Chief Secretary, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, Prof. J. Philip President, XIME and Former Director IIM-B and
Mr. C. J. Kuncheria, Secretary, XIME were also present. The event started with lightingof the lamp by Cardinal Alencherry which was followed by a melodious song by the choir. Mr.P. C. Cyriac, Chairman, welcomed the gathering. Mr. T.V. Antony spoke about the importance of perseverance and importance of always aiming to be the best. Following this was an enrichingspeech by Mr. Seshasayee that enthralled the  audience. The topic of discussion was how tomake students industry ready by focusing on the ability of young managers to identify possible
problems that may arise and to come up with innovative solutions to it. Prof. Philip talked abouthis experience of setting up and the stupendous growth that XIME has experienced in these yearsand to be ranked among the top 30 B-Schools of the country .The event was concluded witha speech by Mr. Gokul Santhanam, Senior Vice President, Mphasis (Alumnus of XIME). Mr. C.J. Kuncheria, Secretary XIME, proposed a vote of thanks.
